Mycorrhizae for turf is a great way to promote root health and establishment
TourTurf® Myco Turf Activator
EU: 3-3-3 + 1% Fe (Fine Grade, SGN 100) + Microorganisms and Endomycorrhiza Fungi
Healthy turf with less need for fungicides and chemicals!
100% organic fertilizer with seaweed, endomycorrhiza fungi and bacteria
TourTurf® Myco Turf Activator helps to renew or improve the natural biology in the soil, as it increases the number of beneficial mycorrhiza fungi and bacteria in the turf rooting zone.
The product improves the turf’s ability to better defend itself against pathogenic microorganisms that are responsible for poor growth or diseases. If soil life is abundant then the plant has more biological tools available to protect itself against not only diseases, but also degradation from other environmental stresses.
TourTurf® Myco Turf Activator contains a unique blend of organic nutrients, seaweed extracts, essential endomycorrhiza fungi and bacteria consortia of Bacillus spp. and Azospirillium spp. The product is therefore an environmentally friendly and sustainable product, with all ingredients approved and registered for organic farming.
Approximately 85% of all plants benefit from the use of arbuscular (endo-) mycorrhiza fungi, including all the commonly used turf species, such as the Bent and Fescue turf species.
Turf plants do not benefit from ectomycorrhiza fungi.
From the trial work at AFBI we know that even in a high disease pressure situation it is possible to minimize and reduce disease with up to 60 % compared to untreated plants.
Renovation of turf areas: 3-5 kg/100 m2. New seeding: 5 kg/100 m2.
1 bag will treat up to 600 m2
The product is recommended for turf use only. Incorporate the product into the top soil before seeding, overseeeding or installing new turf rolls. For use on existing turf areas, apply at time of aeration brushing the material in to achieve root contact.
For other plant types, we recommend TourTurf® Myco Plant Activator with the exception of acid loving plants like Rhododendron and Azaleas.
